Illinois Department of Agriculture Publishes Proposed Industrial Hemp Rules – Global Hemp

The Illinois Department of Agriculture has published administrative rules for the public to comment on regarding the production of industrial hemp in Illinois. The following 45 day period is open to public comments. Afterwards, applications to apply for licensing will be available to farmers and processors. Fees include $100 per application, $1,000 per license, and lab testing will be charged at cost.
